This is one of the most interesting natural phenomenon I’ve seen. High winds caused wet snow to form into these rollers all across a field in Bethel, Maine. Thanks to Isaac Crabtree for the explanation!

It seems as though there are certain conditions where the snow is just fresh and wet enough, and the wind is strong enough, to make natural snowballs right on the ground. Wild!
