Wolfe’s Neck Cows Leap for Joy As They’re Released for the Season

Our cows head out to pasture for the season

One of our favorite days of the year is when the dairy herd heads out onto the green fields for the first time of the season. After a rainy start to spring, it's dried up enough to let them out each day to graze the grasses and add nutrients back into the soil. Watch as our herd of 43 beelines it for the pastures…and as onlookers cheer them on!

43 cows at Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport were let out to pasture for the first time this year, and they absolutely loved it!
